Folks Arrive
A belated good morning! It's practically noon. Michelle got up early and picked up the girls from their Lock In at Hampshire Hills. They've been catching up on sleep ever since. I just returned from a Step 'n Abs class at the Merrimack YMCA. Looking forward to seeing my folks soon...
After lunch I took Timothy to his piano lesson while Michelle took Daniel for his dance class. The girls are still a bit wiped out from last night's outing.
Got a call from my dad when they crossed into Keene. I estimate that they'll arrive around the time we get to 4 o'clock Mass.
Back from Mass and my folks are here and mostly settled in. It's so nice to see them after almost a year away. Between mom's and Michelle's cancer issues, we haven't been able to visit each other.
We all enjoyed a beef stew that had been cooking in the crock pot all day. I got my dad's iPhone setup on the home network. We shared recent photos. I hadn't mentioned that Timothy's old laptop power supply died a few days ago and we ordered a replacement which should arrive Tuesday. Thank goodness nearly everything for that old laptop is dirt cheap. My dad brought his laptop that my brother rebuilt for him and it has an identical power supply. So Timothy was able to get his charged up and updated. He's also looking forward to installing the major Ubuntu 11.10 update tomorrow. Timothy and his brothers have discovered SuperTux.
Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. My folks are upstairs sleeping in our room. Claire is upstairs sleeping in Abby's room. Michelle and I are spending the week downstairs in Claire's room in pair of twin beds. I feel like I'm in an episode of "I Love Lucy".
