Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 09:16 PM

Good morning! It's 13°F so far here in the Souhegan Valley. I've dropped the girls off at school and will be VPN'd into work for most of the day. I know: lather, rinse, repeat. ☺. 7:54am

Rapid fire lunch break with Michelle. Lunch at Cafe on the Oval, coffees from Donut Fresh Express, stopped by the pharmacy for Michelle, grocery for some milk, and the car wash for my Jetta. All in 1 hour! PS. Who knew I had a red car underneath the salt? 1:23pm

Michelle took Claire for a doctor appointment, and yet Michelle ends up walking out with an H1N1 vaccination. 3:38pm

Phew! I went to my usual Step & abs class. I stayed afterwards for the strength/toning class after it. I. Am. Wiped. Out!! I am so ready to eat a belated dinner. Hopefully it'll get easier if I can keep it up. I had backed off my routine a bit when Michelle first got her cancer diagnosis. Good night all! 9:16pm

Comment: Lots o' good tips for securing your data and privacy when using someone else's computer (ie. internet cafe).
Excerpt: Internet cafes proliferate all throughout Asia and other remote countries, which makes getting online very easy and cheap. That said, as much as I love "the cloud," keeping data online comes with security concerns, especially in places where internet restrictions and heavy government monitoring are ...

16 Things I Like about the Google Nexus One (and 8 I don’t)
Comment: And of course I liked: "My expectations of Snapdragon are the reason I haven’t moved to anAndroid device in the past few months, and those expectations have beenmet – and in some cases, exceeded — by the Nexus One".
Excerpt: From fast on/off capabilities to awesome multitasking, Kevin found plenty to like about Google's Nexus One phone. However, he also ...
