Hey! It may not be significant news to 90% of the population, but if you have a young child it's big. It's right up there with the Blue Clues transition from Steve to lil' brother Joe. This afternoon Dora the Explorer's mom had twins -- a boy and a girl. Thus solving the question: will it be a baby brother or a baby sister? It looks like the answer is "yes". Excelente!
In related news earlier this morning I ordered "Dora The Explorer: Super Star Adventures" for Gameboy. Daniel has been enjoying the preceding game "Dora the Explorer: The Search for Pirate Pig's Treasure". It's the first Gameboy game that he "gets". Simple moves like walking, crawling, jumping, and climbing -- all while looking for stars (estrellas).
Pretty sad- the twins were the highlight here too. They sure seem like happy babies! My sister-in-law Chrissy took Michael to see Dora Live yesterday. She said Michael seemed to enjoy it, but was confused with Dora being real, and even more confused with Boots having a real human face. Freaky!

So now Michelle tells me that next week's Dora episode reveals what's special about the little twins. Super powers, perhaps? Perhaps they can scare Swiper the Fox with their cries? :-)
