More opinions on Sept 11th

Posted by Scott at 03:09 PM

There is no shortage of opinions being thrown around in the media regarding the tragedy of Sept 11th. Listening and reading them gives us all a lot to think about: the why's, the what now's, etc. Speaking only for myself, my opinion has shifted a few times during the past three weeks.

A few years ago when I used to get the Conservative Chronicle once a week, I looked forward to reading the articles by Thomas Sowell (among the many good writers they have). I don't subscribe to the newspaper anymore due to time and the fact that many writers are available online. Mr. Sowell wrote a good article a couple of days ago entitled "Islam and the West". I'd recommend it for a perspective that you don't see too often.

Mom and Dad are doing another day trip to North Conway today. The girls and I drove through it last year when we went to StoryLand. When we saw it, we knew it was the perfect place for mom to visit. With the weather we're having today and the autumn color change that's occuring up north, they should have a great trip.
