Good morning! I took a few days offline. I was having a bit of social networking/weblogging burnout. But fear not! There are no major tragedies here. Michelle's cancer has not suddenly taken a turn for the worse. Nobody is sick. 6:13am

I dropped Abby and the twins off at their schools. Michelle is taking Claire to the local doctor for an appointment. Timothy is taking the bus today. I'm listened to "Mugged", an audiobook I bought this morning, on the commute into work. 9:03am

Since today is the anniversary of the founding of Opus Dei in 1928, I was asked on Google+ today what my favorite St. Josemaria quote was. Since my mind was very preoccupied with debug of graphics rendering at that time, I hadn't the time to consider it. I did mention that years ago I wrote a little script to randomly redirect to a St. Josemaria quote at

When you punch that in, it takes you to one of his 3000+ "points" from his three books: The Way, The Forge, and The Furrow. Even going back to my Nextel phone days, I typically have it bookmarked on my phone for those "hurry up and wait" moments where you don't have enough time to break open a book, but you have a minute or two. You know, when most people check their Facebook status on their phones. :-] 2:00pm

I left work a smidge early and head north, listening to Patrick Madrid's "Right Here, Right Now". As of yesterday it expanded to the entire EWTN radio network. 5:25pm

I drove straight to the Merrimack YMCA and took tonight's Step class. Listened to Tech News Today #598 on the drive back home. Now to have a bite of reheated dinner and prepare for tomorrow's RCIA. 7:33pm

We said evening prayers with the kids and sent the boys to bed. I studied for RCIA and helped Claire with her pre-calculus. In exchange Claire reminded me that my analog watch was off and that it is October 2nd, not the 1st. «grin» My eyes are sleepy. Good night all! 9:30pm

And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.”
