New Supervisor

Posted by Scott at 09:30 PM

Good morning! It's a bit of a gloomy, rainy one here in New England. I dropped the girls off at their schools and head into the office. I offered up a set of Sorrowful Mysteries along the first half of the commute and then listened to an episode of Catholic Under the Hood the rest of the way. 8:37am

As usual Michelle will be dropping the boys off at Heron Pond school. She'll then likely take the Boot Camp class at Golds Gym. After school she'll be teaching her CCD class at St. Patricks. 8:39am

Alyssa sent me more photos this morning. This time they include photos from dad's camera. 9:40am

Smiling a bit. My dad recently updated his LinkedIn skills set. It now includes "Nuclear War Planning" and "Conventional War Planning". I have to admit those aren't the usual things I see on LinkedIn. 10:30am

Just found out that a few days ago I was reassigned to report to our local system architect in the Qualcomm hierarchy. It's kind of a good thing. He's just across the hall from me. This past year I reported to a fairly high level director back in San Diego. It was supposed to be temporary, but it's been almost a year with my temporary supervisor. 10:32am

Scheduled an appointment for my car to finally get its snow tires swapped for its all seasons and its 110K service. I'd been putting that off for a while because of more pressing matters. I'll be glad to have the nice looking alloy rims back on. 5:29pm

Left work around 5:30. Was planning on going to an Opus Dei night tonight but am feeling tired and know that we all have to be up extra early tomorrow morning. Listened to another Catholic Under the Hood podcast on the drive home. Still gloomy and rainy. 6:30pm

Got the boys tucked in bed with their prayers. After a few hours of brand research, ordered a quality juicer so that Michelle and I could try to up the fruits and vegetables we consume daily. Several women at the parish office are fans of juicing. We'll see how it goes. We all have to be up early tomorrow so that's a wrap. Happy Birthday to my nephew Kyle! The big 9.0! 9:29pm

“Jesus answered them, ‘I told you and you do not believe.
The works I do in my Father's name testify to me.
But you do not believe, because you are not among my sheep.
My sheep hear my voice;
I know them, and they follow me.’ ”
