Good morning! The kids have off from school today for MLK day. They are going with Michelle to the Y while Michelle teaches her Step class. I drove down to Boxborough, listening to "Reamde" along the way. It was -3°F as I approached the border but things are warming up now and it's 15°F here in at the office. 9:45am

Archbishop and Cardinal-to-be Timothy Dolan delivered a no-holds-barred sermon on morality. Exerpt: “The one who, with God’s grace and mercy, tries his or her best to be pure and chaste is often thought of not as a hero, not a saint, but as a freak in our culture today... Anyone who tries his or her best to live it can expect a lot of temptation and even ridicule and criticism.” 10:47am

Stepped out to bring back some lunch from the cafeteria. Even though it's bright and sunny outside and it's 26°F, somehow feels colder. It motivated me to skip the salad and go for the hot, comfort food. 1:14pm

Time to wrap up for today. Hoping to get out in time to catch a class at Golds tonight. 4:26pm

I got to speak briefly with my dad on the drive north and listened to more of "Reamde" the rest of the commute. Claire and I just finished a Step Circuit class at Golds. I'm just waiting for her to finish up so we can go home. 6:56pm

Stayed up with the kids to watch the premiere of the new iCarly: "iMeet the First Lady". This is the new episode with a brief appearance by Michelle Obama. Time to tuck the boys in bed with their prayers. Somehow I completely forgot about an Opus Dei Circle tonight. Sometimes I think if my head weren't attached… well, you know. Good night all! 8:29pm

“People came to Jesus and objected,
‘Why do the disciples of John and the disciples of the Pharisees fast,
but your disciples do not fast?’
Jesus answered them,
‘Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them?’ ”
