Tiring

After last week's earthquake, the Washington Monument has cracked, joining other historic items like the Liberty Bell and Joe Biden. 7:34am

A belated good morning! Abby had a sleepover guest. To keep the boys from fighting, Timothy went with me to the YMCA. He did laps and basketball while I took the Step 'n Abs class. We stopped by McD's on the way home to enjoy a Mango Pineapple smoothie. Quite tasty after a good workout! 11:11am

Claire had the 8 to 3 shift at Subway. After I had lunch, I worked on the lawn with help from Abby and Michelle. Many parts of the lawn were rather long because of the rains from TS Irene last weekend. Just showered up (again!) and am relaxing with an iced coffee, a copy of Beginning Ruby and an irb shell session for experimenting. Claire should be home any moment... I asked the kids if they wanted to go to the Nashua YMCA pool, but couldn't get any interest. Tim's tinkering, Daniel's reading, and Michael's Angry Bird'ing. 3:39pm

Taking the family out for dinner at the Red Arrow Diner in Milford. Yeah, I'm the big spender. 5:00pm

When we got home I decided to clean the lens on the red camera. Pictures have been getting fuzzy and I can see why. Then we played several rounds of Kings in the Corner, working a crossword puzzle, listening to some songs on Spotify, and reading. Abby assisted Michelle in doing some range of motion exercises with her arms. Timothy asked that I buy the 99ยข 'Kings in the Corner' app on the Mac app store. After getting the boys to bed with their prayers, we watched the last bits of "Grease". Hard to believe that movie is 33 years old. I reminded the girls not to stay up late as they're serving early Mass tomorrow. Good night all! 9:00pm
