Finished "Flatland"

Via linorulli: “I don't like overtly pious people. With that said, God bless you and you'll be in my prayers today. May He love and keep you. Amen and amen.” That's so like Lino! 9:20am

Good morning! I'm hoping it's a quieter one for Michelle. I finished up Flatland on my drive in this morning. One can really tell that the author was a theologian and a mathematics expert. An early Anglican geek! ;-] 9:27am

Nashua is getting a Maker Space! (related link) Now if only I were a handy guy. As they say on the Red Green Show, “if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy!” 9:46am

Snarkasm: Great moments in doomsday countdowns. 9:52am

Ever wonder why it takes our servers a fraction of the time to rebuild my project compared to my laptop. Well, my compute server is a 12 core, 48 GB RAM machine running Linux. My laptop is a dual core, 3GB RAM machine running WinXP... That might have something to do with it. 9:58am

Went out with some former co-workers from AMD to Il Forno for some lunch. It's definitely summer out there! 1:03pm

Left work a bit on the late side, listening to TWiT #309 along the commute home. Michelle is with her good friend, going to see the new house they bought for her mother. Claire is at youth group. Now the rest of the kids and I are watching Doctor Who The Fires of Pompeii. 7:43pm

What good use of the history of Pompeii to advance a tragic storyline. We all enjoyed it. Time to get the boys to bed. 8:35pm
