Short Updates

Good morning! It was our last one without Michelle's help. I got the kids out to school and took my first call at 9am. Also spoke briefly with Michelle who was on her way to the airport. 11:04am

The UPS man dropped off the digital audio cable needed to hook up my MacBook to our living room sound system. Gave it a quick dry run with a few minutes of IronMan 2. Sounds sweet! 11:05am

Once again went to lunch at Cafe on the Oval and stopped at DFE for coffee on the way back home. Enjoying a little Pandora radio while debuggin' this afternoon. 1:09pm

Gack! There's an Oprah mobile app?! TV, books, magazines, satellite radio, and now a mobile app. sigh 1:11pm

Looks like my favorite media player, VLC, an audio/video Swiss army knife, might soon be available on the iP**. 3:37pm

One of my most used apps, Google Maps, has an update today available via the Google Market. 3:54pm

Broadcom has open sourced their WiFi drivers. If you've ever put a Linux variant on a laptop, chances are you saw WiFi aggravation. 4:13pm

Nerdgasm of the day: Classic games ROM emulation done in Javascript... because we can these days. 5:15pm

HDR coming to video too. Not sure yet whether I really find it more realistic or not. 5:25pm

Since Claire had gymnastics and a lot of homework, we all piled in the van to pick her up and have some McD's afterward. On the way home Michelle called to say she had boarded the plane of her last leg of travel: Chicago/Midway to Manchester,NH. 7:29pm

I've decided to join the book burning craze. I'm planning on burning The Facebook™. ;-] Who's with me?! 7:39pm

Michelle and I are back home from the Manchester airport. Her travels, though long, went smoothly. 10:24pm
