Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 11:59 PM

Good morning! Since we went to bed early last night, we woke up a bit early. I'm relieved that Michelle did well this time. Those first 12-18 hours post-chemo are the most volatile for her. Together we watched last night's Palin interview. Looks like we should have some nice weather today -- sunny and upper 50's. 6:02am

Went with Michelle to an advanced Step class -- partly because I needed it, partly to keep an eye on her. As you might guess, she kicked my butt in ability and energy levels, but I just wanted to be sure... 10:29am

Made an appointment for my Jetta to get an exterior detailing and some touchups on nicks in the paint job. Dontcha just love door dings?! I'm so thankful most minivans have sliding doors for the kids. 11:34am

Back from a lunch with my spiritual director. Back to work... 2:15pm

Back from taking Timothy to his dentist appointment. He has three loose teeth! Meanwhile Michelle went to Daniel's parent-teacher conference. And now Claire is off to gymnastics. Chaos! 4:48pm

Eager to see tonight's FlashForward episode entitled, "Believe", but think I'll probably be too tired by the time it airs. Meh, perhaps early tomorrow morning ala TiVo? 5:11pm

We're all at Gymnastics Village waiting to pick up Claire. Next stop: the flu clinic. 6:30pm

Back from the local medical clinic. The waiting room was full of folks who had been on the waiting list for the H1N1 vaccine. We waited about half an hour before our five kids got theirs. Afterwards we took them to McDs for a reward dessert for their patience and bravery. 8:08pm
