Good morning! Dropped my car off for its annual state inspection. The family is considering riding the M/S Mount Washington this afternoon. (related link) I'm VPN'd into the office today, trying to wrap up loose ends. 8:49am

Car is back from its state inspection. The ladies are getting ready to head out to Weirs Beach to ride the M/S Mt. Washington. 10:04am

Just called Michelle. They all got to Weirs Beach and have been on "the boat" for about half an hour. Says weather is nice up there. 1:03pm

Went for a late lunch at the Cafe on the Oval followed by a coffee run. It's raining again. Day 9 in the Novena of Rain. No mowing tonight. 3:03pm

Michelle is telling me that on the drive home from Lake Winnipesaukee she didn't get the stereotypical "Are we there yet?" Instead Timothy asked several times, "What state are we in now?" "New Hampshire, Tim, and we'll stay in New Hampshire for the whole drive." Five minutes later, "What state are we in now?" This is when God strengthens our parenting patience muscles through "resistance training". 8:44pm

If you have Disney Channel tweens in the house, I'm bettin' that they're watching "Princess Protection Program" now. Disney has been hyping that movie for months and the premiere is finally on. Our girls are watching it downstairs. 9:08pm
