Stopped by the house. It's 22F outside and 50F in the house. I drained the water lines before leaving.
Rumor has it that power has been restored. Will head out in a moment to check it out.
Resettling back in the house. Water back on. The furnace and both wood stoves are kicked in. Resetting clocks, booting computers, etc.
Drawing up a hot bath for the twins. Glad to have the power for the well pump and water heater to do so.
Michelle just gave us boys haircuts. Fresh haircuts, fresh shave, fresh shower... ah, life is good! ;-)
It's amazing how we take these simple things for granted until the power goes out!
