Carpooled into the office w/my boss. Today is my busy Wednesday morning -- full of international conference calls discussing tech issues.
Conference call mania is over. As usual I have a bunch of "action items" to follow up with. Better to have too much work than too little.

Reviewed some basic computer stuff with Claire for her computer class. Believe it or not, we've no nerds in the house besides me... yet.
I feel like writing some non-work related Perl tonight but should probably focus on sleep.
I can't believe I logged back into the work network to send two more emails, but hey, most of my customers are 6+ hours ahead of me!

Hey John Kerry: "No aborting our future! Not now! Not ever!" We abort more in 1 day than the number of those tortured in the WOT total!
That last remark is my knee jerk response to John Kerry saying at last night's convention: "No Torture! Not now! Not Ever!" It just gets my goat to watch a politician get all moralistic about the supposed torturing of enemy combatants found on the battlefield, but absolutely defend the snuffing out of millions of innocent unborn children every year because doing anything about the latter is "above my paygrade." Bah!
