Short Updates

Posted by Scott at 11:46 PM

Yawn! This morning I'm going to be paying for staying up past midnight slinging Perl code. I imagine around mid-day it'll catch up w/me. 06:20am

For now though I'm heading downstairs to give our primary wood stove its last major cleaning of the season. Well, that & breaking the fast! 06:22am

When Michelle breaks the fast, she really breaks the fast! Pancakes, genuine maple syrup, eggs, bacon, OJ, hot tea... 07:06am

Back from a good Step class at our local gym. My legs are beginning to acclimate to the extra riser I've been using these past several wks. 10:59am

Holy Cow! ~20% of polled Democrats would defect to McCain if their candidate loses the nomination?! (related link) Skeptical! 11:25am

Michelle has a 1pm fitness instructor meeting & then we're considering taking the kids to Chunky's cinema/pub to see "Horton Hears a Who!". 11:45am

Came in the house from running errands to the awesome smell of cupcakes baking. Mmmm... 12:32am

Enjoying a burger, waiting for "Horton" to start. 03:50pm

Back from "Horton". Good family film, subject to multiple interpretations. Incredibly well rendered (that's the graphics guy in me speaking) 05:59pm

I'm still amazed that very pro-choice Hollywood released a movie with the repeated tagline "a person's a person no matter how small." 06:01pm

Reminiscing w/Timothy about how I used to love PBS/CTW's 3-2-1 Contact when I was a boy. (related link) I think he would've too! 06:23pm

If you have broadband + Quicktime, see "Horton Hears a Who!" trailers at (related link) for examples of the rendering. 06:31pm

Abby & I have always enjoyed (related link) , but it was more fun tonight surfing on the "big screen" via the Wii's browser. 08:55pm

Michelle is doing last minute Easter gift prep. Since I was up late last night, my eyes are getting heavy. 09:03pm

Comments
