Photo Album

Click to see the album Stove - The guys from StoveKeepers came by late yesterday morning and installed the pellet stove. It was a snug fit but they said that the mason who originally built the mantle did an excellent job. This was the first time they didn't need to do any adjustments to level the stove.

Pictures - I worked on this little album during Timothy's nap this afternoon. For obvious reasons there are no pictures of the girls. It includes a few shots of the pellet stove and some from our quick trip to play along the banks of the Souhegan River.

[ Evening update @ 11PM ] The rest of the day got a bit busy.

CPR - Today Michelle went into Nashua to re-certify on CPR. She's supposed to stay current on it since she teaches step aerobics. It had been a few years so she needed a refresher course and test. The boys and I met up with her at the Nashua YMCA around 3PM as she was finishing up.

Dressers - From there we tag-team drove to the south end of Nashua. While she took the boys to Roby Park to play, I went to the nearby furniture store to pick up the dressers we had ordered for the boys last weekend. It's times like this when it's nice to own a van. By the time I met back up with them again at the park, they were exhausted, even though it had only been 15-20 minutes. It was 93° with direct sun and getting humid. Timothy was so flush he looked sunburnt! We took the boys to a nearby McDonalds with a PlayPlace to let them eat, drink, and play in a cooler environment.

'But at least it's humid' - Once we got home, Michelle and I were busy unpacking the dressers from the van. They were thoroughly wrapped and boxed, so it took some time. From there we had to haul them inside and upstairs. What a sweat-fest! We had to tear down the boxes and bag all the padding for next Monday's garbage pickup. Lastly, I had to put the van back to it's normal seating configuration. None of this would have been all that bad except for the steamy conditions outside.

Kickin' back - Once that was all done, I rinsed off with a cool shower. From there I picked us up a quick dinner from Besta One. I teased the staff there because last weekend I ordered a small "steak and provolone" sub and it was misunderstood as a "bacon provolone" pizza. Yuck! This week they got it right. I got to kick back, relax, enjoy the sub while watching 'Singing In The Rain'. Man! Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, Debbie Reynolds, Cyd Charisse! It hard to pack in more singing, dancing, and comedy into one movie. Gene, Gene, the dancin' machine!

Congrats on the new stove, even if you can't use it for four months ;) It looks nice in the fireplace mantle though.

The picture of Michelle down by the river came out really pretty.

I may give you a ring about lunch tomorrow (Tuesday)

Hi Will,

>> Congrats on the new stove, even if you can't use it for four months ;) It looks nice in the fireplace mantle though.

I like it, but yes, it's torture not being able to take a picture of it *running* without working against the air conditioning. ;-P

Yep, it looks decent at web resolution. I was a little let down at how the original photo came out. I did a select on the area around Michelle and ran a sharpen filter on it to try to enhance some of the edges. The lens was rather zoomed which can make things a bit blurry if you don't hold your camera steady.

Don't forget. I'm picking up the girls today (Tuesday). I decided to take the whole day off because we're also helping our friends take the boys' older dressers today.
