Mario Kart dominates November's sales

From the Wall Street Journal:

Best-Selling Console Games
Fun and fast Mario Kart: Double Dash -- where players race each other in go-carts -- was the top selling videogame in November. The success of Mario Kart, played on Nintendo Co.'s GameCube console, marked a rare defeat for Sony Corp., whose PlayStation 2 -- which claims the largest share of the console market followed by Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox -- usually has the best-selling game.

Thanks again to Chris and Katie for giving it to us for Christmas. Congrats to Nintendo for putting out such a fun game against the heavyweights of Sony and Microsoft. It's certainly been keeping my wife and daughters entertained through the recent New England cold snap. The article also mentioned that Mario Bros 3: Super Mario Advance 4 (for the Gameboy Advance) was in 9th place. I'll have to look into it.
