A study by experts in Germany suggests people with blonde hair are an endangered species and will become extinct by 2202. I guess they haven't seen my mom's grandchildren. 8 out of 8, all blonde.
Update [October 15th, 2003] - For some strange reason this webpage seems to get a lot of search engine hits. I wanted to update it with a picture of my mom's 10 blonde grandchildren taken last July. So here it is a year later and all 10 out of 10 are blonde. So much for that "recessive" gene. My sister and I each married brunettes and still had blonde children.
It was an ordinary but beautiful Saturday. YMCA, Home Depot, Quikava, lawn maintanance, Taco Bell, and a visit to the park. The weather, though, made it seem just so nice. Dry, a little breezy, clear skies in the high 60's. Too bad it's just so short lived.
