But at least it's humid...

I had planned on giving the tractor mower its first trip around the yard today but whoa! 86° at 8:45AM with a projected high of 96°!! No way! Saturday's high is projected to be around 78°. It'll give me more time to review the tractor's usage anyway.

Last night I put some more door locks on the lower kitchen cabinets and installed an electric can opener under the upper kitchen cabinets. Just a few more things to try to make Michelle's life a little more sane.

As I drove between Milford and Nashua to work this past week, there were a number of small business signs that read "One Nation, Under God" on them. It reminded me of the displays on the business signs shortly after collapse of the World Trade Center. It amazes me that our country is trying to twist the anti-establishment clause into a “separation of Church and State” edict.

Even my home town of River Grove is in a small legal struggle because the town hall has a simple message referring to God on its display. Even the country's founders who were not Christian recognized Divine Providence and knew that our blessings flowed from it. In their eyes government and its laws were subordinate to the Divine. I think the wording "under God" is most appropriate, even if it was added in the 1950's. It puts things in the correct order.
