Happy St. Joseph's Day

Posted by Scott at 09:40 AM

Just as St. Pat's is for the Irish, St. Joseph's day is pretty big feast day for the Polish and Italians/Sicilians.

Of course now that spring is a few days away, we've been having snow for over 24 hours. No major accumulations, but where was this earlier? This snow is expected to continue until Wednesday night. At least it'll help mitigate against the drought we've been under.

Michelle and the kids went yesterday to see a potential home in Amherst. It was big enough with almost 3000 sq. ft. inside and over 1 1/2 acres outside, but there were a few things that kept us from moving forward on it.

Last night I went to Paul Swope's house for an Opus Dei meeting and afterwards got to see his latest edition, Evan Thomas Swope. I took a few pictures which will be in the next batch.

One of my favorite conservative writers, Linda Bowles, is stopping her writing career to care for her terminally ill husband. She says goodbye to her readers and writes about him in this article. Reading the article only increased my admiration for her, her husband, and their marriage.
