I got sick of:
- there not being anything on when we might want to watch TV
- the interesting stuff being on when we're not available to watch it
so I ordered a
TiVo. Based on our television wants and usage, I think it's more important to get a
DVR/PVR like a TiVo than a DVD player. The irony is that our existing combo television/VCR unit is a fraction of the cost of a TiVo box. If you can't watch anything worthwhile, what use is the television and its cable service?
