Good morning! Like many mornings all three cats are here on the bed, wondering when Michelle will come downstairs and feed them. After that you'll never get 'em to come when called the rest of the day. Welcome to the fourth Sunday of Advent -- only six days left 'til Christmas. And Happy Birthday to my nephew TJ!
Now that a bunch of Christmas cards have come in the mail, it's time to update the addresses for those who have moved. Sadly we don't have any extra cards to resend to the correct addresses this year. At least we'll be ready next year...
Ordered Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo for the boys. It's being sent from Amazon video on demand to the main floor TiVo.
Watched the demo of Calibre, a tool for eBooks and eBook readers like the Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook. Amazing tool for something free and cross platform. I particularly like the conversion function since the Kindle does not support the industry standard epub format file.
Ordered three of these albums for the boys since they like collecting their state quarters.
Back from Mass and breakfast. Timothy's practicing his piano. The girls are catching up on their homework. I'm watching the recent John Stossel special about 10 government promises that went wrong because they didn't look at the long term, bigger picture consequences.
Michelle and Abby are out shopping. The boys and I are watching "Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo".
Took the family for dinner at Red Arrow Diner. When we got home I gave Timothy some YouTube help with a level he was stuck in with Lego Indiana Jones. Now they're all watching Charlie Brown Christmas.
Oh cool! Disney's "Prep and Landing" is on ABC right now. It looks like a newer one than last year, & voiced with Betty White as Mrs. Claus.
I was a bit bummed that the "Prep and Landing" cartoon was just a new Disney short, not a full half hour show. Still it was cute.
In the mood for some Linux masochism I'm going to do an ArchLinux install. It's the anti-Ubuntu distro. Very old school, sans floppy discs.
